** Please note that the selection process is continuous. The topics will be filled when suitable candidates apply for them and pass all the steps of the selection process. The acceptance to the program is announced to the applying students on an ongoing basis.
*** Please note that the duration of academic internships is 2 months. The starting and ending dates of the internship period differ for different universities.
SELECTION PROCESS
The traditional program of academic internships UNIGOU Exchange was established with the purpose of providing Brazilian students an opportunity to join leading departments at Czech universities and participate in their ongoing scientific activities during two-month stays in Czechia. It targets effective professional development of all participants, in the context of international environment. In addition to professional skills, it also contributes to the personal and cultural growth of all students involved.
Due to the limited number of the available Topics of the UNIGOU Exchange Academic Internships, all the applying students undergo an on-line assessment process evaluating their language abilities, previous experience, skills, and motivation. Only selected applicants are chosen for participation in the UNIGOU Exchange program.
STEPS TO BECOME A PARTICIPANT
OF THE UNIGOU EXCHANGE:
Verify that you fulfil all the requirements of the program.
Choose a topic of interest for the Academic Internship, from the list of available topics.
Submit your online Application Form at this webpage.
Upon approval of your application, you will receive by email detailed instructions on how to conclude the steps to register for the UNIGOU Exchange program selection process, including a link to fill your Registration Form.
Fill-in and submit the Registration Form (online) to enrol to the selection process for the chosen topics of interest.
Complete the Selection Process for the Academic Collaboration, following the information that you will receive by e-mail after your registration:
you will be requested to submit your Motivation letter (online, you will receive a link) and to send your CV in English (by e-mail);
you will be invited for the online assessment tests of English proficiency and General Skills.
All done! Just wait for the results of the UNIGOU Exchange selection process, following the calendar of the UNIGOU Exchange Program.

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN THE UNIGOU EXCHANGE
- 18+ years old;
- English fluency;
- Meeting specific requirements according to the selected topic of interest of the Academic Internship;
- Regular enrolment at a home university certified by MEC in an undergraduate, master or doctoral program;
- Having completed at least 2 years of the undergraduate program at the home university;
- Interest and motivation to commit to the Program UNIGOU Exchange for 2 months;
- Reliability, responsibility and an ability to perform on tasks independently, in an international environment.
